Morningstar Rating 

The star rating is the tool that investors most closely associate with the Morningstar brand. The Morningstar Rating brings both returns and risk together into one evaluation. Star ratings are calculated monthly.

Morningstar Style Box  

The Morningstar Style Box is a nine-box grid that provides investors with insight into the methodology and the size of companies in which a fund invests. Combining these two variables offers a broad view of a fund's holdings and risk. The Style Box comprises two components: market capitalization on the vertical axis and valuation on the horizontal axis.
